The journey begins with arrival and a visit to Hoq Cave followed by Arher’s dunes and coastline. The program continues with freshwater swimming at Kalysan, snorkeling at Dihamri Marine Protected Area, and exploration of the Dragon Blood Tree region in Diksam and Firmhin. The tour then moves to Qalansiya and Detwah Lagoon for coastal landscapes and cultural encounters, followed by a boat trip to Shoab Beach with dolphin spotting opportunities. The experience concludes with departure on the fifth day.
Upon arrival at the airport, we will head to a local restaurant for lunch. Afterward, we’ll drive to Hoq Cave, the largest cave on Socotra Island. A scenic hike will take us to the cave entrance, where we’ll explore its fascinating formations. Later, we continue to the Arher area, known for its beautiful beach and impressive sand dunes, with free time to relax and enjoy the view.
After breakfast, we visit Kalysan, a stunning freshwater wadi where you can swim and enjoy nature. Next, we head to Wadi Qaria for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, we travel to the Dihamri Marine Protected Area, one of the island’s most famous snorkeling spots, where you can observe vibrant coral reefs and marine life. We then continue to the Diksam Plateau and Firmhin Forest, home to the iconic Dragon Blood Trees, where we camp overnight.
After breakfast, we spend time among the Dragon Blood Trees before heading toward Qalansiya. We visit Detwah Lagoon, the largest and most scenic beach on Socotra Island, known for its turquoise waters and breathtaking views. We also visit the famous Cave Man and learn about his unique way of life. Lunch, dinner, and overnight camping take place at Detwah.
After breakfast, we take a boat tour along the coast to spot dolphins. We continue to Shoab Beach, a remote and pristine location where you can swim and relax. In the afternoon, we return to camp to freshen up and enjoy the final sunset of the trip.
On the final day, we gather for breakfast and prepare for departure. Afterward, we head to the airport, concluding the journey across Socotra.
